The E-learning project - cooperation with SGM Solutions from Berlin |

Innovation Center of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade established cooperation with a well-known German company SGM-Solutions from Berlin, involvind the development of an e-learning platform used for remote learning. The purpose of this project was to develop interactive courses for the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST), the leading institution in the field of vocational education in Malta.
In cooperation with SGM, the Innovation Center delivered the so-called "one-stop" solution, which includes: the specification of learning outcomes, development of "e-learning" materials (transcripts, video recordings for interactive learning, quizzes). The quality of the learning material is in accordance with international education standards (e.g. European Qualification Framework - EQF). All of the material is first subjected to an internal quality control process, which involves checking if the platform contents are in accordance with the international standard, spelling errors, image positions, and whether the content is placed in the aequate order. Lectures are presented in video or audio form. Average time required for going through an individual module is 37 hours, which includes the time spent on solving of tests and quizzes. All of the content was recorded in Belgrade, whereas the postproduction was performed by SGM-Solutions in Berlin. We have successfully completed three different projects during the 2013-2016 period:
- MCAST 2 - 212 modules (EQF levels 4,5,6)
- MCAST 3 - 10 modules - Lecturer training
- MCAST 4 - 9 modules for the master level
